Owing to my having to publish an extra post today, by way of fulfilling my commitment to this year's "Countdown To Halloween" month-long blogathon, I'm going to have to delay my coverage of all the Roku-specific and/or Roku-related news from the past seven days until I can find the time to catch-up on what's "missing" from this first edition of the current 'Weekly RoundUp' post. As I've done in the past, under these circumstances, I have (at least) managed to provide you with a complete list of all the latest new additions to the "Official" Roku UK Channel Store from the past week. With any luck I'll be able to compile these introductory paragraphs of news bit-by-bit, over the course of the next few days, so if you check this post again later in the week, you should find it's been updated! ;-) :-D
Anyway, with no Roku-related news to share with you at this time, I'm (instead) going to focus on the equally important matter of bringing you details for all the latest new Roku channels (apps) which were released during the seven days since my last 'Weekly RoundUp' post was published and, with a decent crop of eighty-seven new channels to browse, that should be more than enough to keep you occupied while I assemble the odd snippets of Roku-related news I found for you in the last week! :-)
Before I get into the current list of channels, however, I would just like to point-out that the ongoing issue of "missing" reviews from the 'Roku Guide' website appears to have worsened (yet again) since my previous article for this blog. Over the last forty weeks, my 'Weekly RoundUp' posts have seen a total of 4,061 new channels added. Meanwhile, the number of 'Roku Guide' reviews being published during that time has continued to fall short of the mark. Quite how they managed to only produce 9 reviews, with just five from the current week; one more from last week, plus; one which featured in my "Roku UK Channel Store - Weekly RoundUp #308" post as far back as 2nd February of this year, along with; two US-only channels, when there were upwards of 87+ new Roku channels released in the past seven days, is beyond me! Unfortunately, this can't be seen as being an exception to the rule... because, digging through their archives, it soon becomes clear this has been happening all too frequently. Looking at all of the articles they've published since the start of the year, there has been a total of only 1,034 new reviews added to their website. So, with a minimum of eighty-two "missing" reviews from the past week, they remain more than seventy percent short of where they should be and, if this continues, there could be hundreds (if not thousands) more Roku channels with no corresponding independent review for me to provide a link from each of the 'Weekly RoundUp' posts on my blog. I hope this shortfall is addressed soon because, as mentioned 36 weeks ago, the current situation isn't good for anyone connected to Roku: be they end-users, developers, bloggers like myself, or even Roku - whose platform provides the source from which 'Roku Guide' compile their reviews! :-O
Still, back to the list... which, as always, will help you to identify the very latest apps that have been added to Roku devices in the UK. Other websites offering Roku channel listings will base their contents on the Roku USA Channel Store, which means they also include apps that are unavailable to UK Roku users. So, like I've said before... if you really want to know what's available channel-wise, for owners of Roku devices in the UK, you need to be reading this blog each and every week! ;-) :-)

PLEASE NOTE:- That this latest 'Pelis HD' channel should not be confused with another similarly-named Roku app, called 'Pelis HD Online v1', that was originally featured on this blog as part of my previous "Roku UK Channel Store - Weekly RoundUp #336" post, back in August of this year, and which was represented by the exact same channel icon (aka 'HD Poster' image) in the Roku Channel Store. The main difference seems to be that the original app has an associated subscription fee of £1.99 per month, having already been reduced from the original asking price of £2.49 per month at the time of it's initial release, whereas this version is free-to-add with the proviso that it "May require additional fees" in order to view some (or all) of the content provided therein. Bizarrely, both channels remain available for install and (at the time of writing) neither one has an associated 'Roku Guide' review so as to offer any further insight on what the precise differences between the two (co-existing) versions might be. Needless to say, if that situation should change at any point in the future, I will update the relevant post(s) accordingly with the relevant details to keep you all informed! ;-) :-)

PLEASE NOTE:- That this latest 'Toast TV' channel for the Roku platform is not to be confused with an earlier app release, by the name of 'Toast TV Live 24', that was released back in May 2017 and featured in my 'Roku UK Channel Store - Weekly RoundUp #218' at that time. Nor should it be confused with an ad-free paid version of that original app, called 'Toast TV Live 24 AD FREE', which followed in July of that same year - came at a cost of £1.49 per month - and was featured in my subsequent 'Roku UK Channel Store - Weekly RoundUp #226' post. What is unusual about this current 'Toast TV' release is that the unique channel store identifier for the app (.../154553/...) actually pre-dates the earlier 'Toast TV Live 24' and 'Toast TV Live 24 AD FREE' channels, that have unique identifiers of '.../155233/...', and '.../165155/...', respectively. Furthermore, while there is not (yet?) any 'Roku Guide' review of the current 'Toast TV' app, they exist for both the 'Toast TV Live 24' channel, and the 'Toast TV Live 24 AD FREE' channel, so you could always check those out in the absence of an updated review for the latest version. Given the similarity in the channel icons used for all three of these Roku apps, I can't see the content contained therein varying too much from one to the next. So, until such a time as a new review is published for 'Toast TV', I'd say the existing ones should suffice!

PLEASE NOTE:- That this 'CableSat América' channel, while FREE-TO-ADD to your Roku device(s), will require an email address and password to be entered when you first launch it. This suggests to me there is a possibility (although it carries no such warning) that it may require additional fees in order to access some (or all) of the live streams therein. Or, at the very least, it will require you to be a registered user. If it turns-out to be the former scenario, then I would expect the developer to (at the very least) update the description of their app in the Roku Channel Store so that it displays the usual "May require additional fees" warning in the lower left-hand corner of the screen!

PLEASE NOTE:- That, while this new 'Body Seduction' channel for Roku devices can be found within the 'Just Added' category (i.e. genre) of the "Official" Roku UK Channel Store, no permanent category / genre had (at the time of writing) been assigned to the channel in the UK. If I somehow succeed in bringing this matter to the attention of the developer / content provider, I'd expect to see this app given a permanent "home" under 'Film & TV' or 'Special Interest' in the "Official" Roku UK Channel Store within a few weeks of so-doing. In the meantime, if you don't wish to trawl through the 'Just Added' category of the channel store to find it, I suggest you take advantage of the built-in Roku 'Search' feature to locate and install it. Using this method, you probably won't even need to finish typing the words "Body Seduction" before seeing the channel listed among the 'Search Results' displayed on the right-hand side of your television screen. Failure to assign a permanent channel store category for the UK within the next week or two (however) would mean that, once it ceases to be part of the 'Just Added' category, it would no longer be listed in the channel store. So, if you think you're likely to want this channel, my advice would be to install it by the middle of October (at the latest) because, if the necessary edits are not made to the Roku channel package (.PKG file) by that time, you will not see it there afterwards. Needless to say, if/when the channel is edited to include a permanent channel store category for the UK, I'll update this listing with details of whatever genre has been assigned to it. As mentioned above I'd expect this to be the 'Film & TV' or 'Special Interest' genre, but it could (possibly) wind-up in another category.
