Hi, everyone !!
After a slight dip in the number of new channels last week, compared to the larger lists of apps which covered a period of several weeks prior to that, I'm pleased to report things appear to be "on the up" once more as we've had ANOTHER PRETTY DECENT CROP OF NEW CHANNEL RELEASES to add to the UK Channel Store total. To wit, no less than SEVENTY-FOUR NEW ROKU APPS have been added to the already vast selection of over six thousand six hundred apps that populated the channel store as of this time last week. That means we've now been blessed with close to sixteen hundred new apps, in a period of only seventeen weeks, any of which UK Roku owners can add to the individual selection of apps that are installed on their device(s). As if that wasn't enough... there are also several items of streaming-related news for me to report on but, as has been the case for the last month, or so, I will (again) need to postpone my summary of Roku (and other) news from the past week until I can find time to catch up with everything and add the "missing" details to all of those posts - since, right now, I must (instead) focus on listing all of those new Roku apps for you! :-)
Before I get into the current list of channels, however, I would just like to point-out that the ongoing issue of "missing" reviews from the 'Roku Guide' website appears not to have improved much since my previous article for this blog. Over the course of the last seventeen weeks, my 'Weekly RoundUp' posts have seen a total of 1,597 new channels added. Meanwhile, the number of 'Roku Guide' reviews being published has continued to fall short of the mark during that time. Looking at all of the articles they have published since the start of the year, there has been a total of only 497 new reviews added to their website. With a minimum of around another fifty-eight "missing" reviews from the last week they remain close to seventy percent shy of where they should be and, if this continues, there could be hundreds (if not thousands) more Roku channels with no corresponding independent review for me to provide a link from each of the relevant 'Weekly RoundUp' posts on my blog. I'm hoping this shortfall is addressed soon because, as mentioned thirteen weeks ago, the current situation isn't good for anyone connected to Roku: be they end-users, developers, bloggers like myself, or even Roku - whose platform provides the very source from which 'Roku Guide' generate their reviews! :-O
Still, back to the list... which, as always, will help you to identify the very latest apps that have been added to Roku devices in the UK. Other websites offering Roku channel listings will base their contents on the Roku USA Channel Store, which means they also include apps that are unavailable to UK Roku users. So, like I've said before... if you really want to know what's available channel-wise, for owners of Roku devices in the UK, you need to be reading this blog each and every week! ;-) :-)

PLEASE NOTE:- That the above 'Volume TV' app is not, strictly speaking, a "new" Roku channel... but rather a revised / rebranded version of an earlier one (by the same name) which was originally featured in my "Roku UK Channel Store - Weekly RoundUp #167" post back in 2016. As such, the content of this app remains very much inline with that earlier incarnation... with the most obvious change being that of completely replacing the channel icon (aka 'HD Poster' image) used to represent this app in the "Official" Roku Channel Store as illustrated by the screenshot above. Having thoroughly researched this, I can confirm that the unique 'Channel Store' identifier (.../90740/...) used for both versions of the channel are exactly the same but, given how three years have now passed since the original Roku app first appeared, I have decided to (re-)list it among the new additions from the past week, anyway. The original 'Roku Guide' review has been linked-to from my earlier 'Weekly RoundUp #167' blog post (see link above) but I have chosen not to include an active link to a 'Roku Guide' review in this article until such a time as an updated review is published which corresponds to this "new" version of 'Volume TV' for the Roku platform, as (re-)released in 2019! ;-) :-)

PLEASE NOTE:- That the above 'BeautyKLove TV' channel is not, strictly speaking, a "new" Roku app... but rather a revised / rebranded version of an earlier one, which went by the (slightly) shorter name of 'BeautyKLove', that was featured in my "Roku UK Channel Store - Weekly RoundUp #216" post back in 2017. As with 'Volume TV' listed above, the content of this 'BeautyKLove TV' channel remains very much inline with it's previous incarnation... even down to using the exact same channel icon (aka 'HD Poster' image) representing the app in the "Official" Roku Channel Store. However the same cannot be said of the unique 'Channel Store' identifier which, for the original 'BeautyKLove' app, was ".../151711/..." but, for the newer 'BeautyKLove TV' app, is now ".../287485/..." and, unlike 'Volume TV', both versions (currently) remain available. Moreover, while the original 'Roku Guide' review has been linked-to from my earlier 'Weekly RoundUp #216' blog post (see link above) I have chosen not to include an active link to the 'Roku Guide' review published for this 'BeautyKLove TV' app, since it contains several vital errors... not least of which is that the 'Add Channel' link redirects to the first 'BeautyKLove' channel from 2017, instead of the latest version from 2019! :-O :-/ Needless to say, if/when the necessary corrections are made to the review, I'll update this post accordingly! ;-)

PLEASE NOTE:- That, at the time of it's original release, the above 'All Out Action' channel went by the (slightly) longer name of "Action Channel Pro" which also had an associated subscription fee of £1.49 PER MONTH. However, within a very short time of it's initial release, the name was shortened to "All Out Action" as listed above. Unlike other recent apps from the same developer, which saw the subscription fee reduced to £0.69 PER MONTH following the change of name, there has been no similar reduction in the monthly cost for "All Out Action"... although, in keeping with those other apps, the format of the channel remains the same as it's earlier incarnation in all other respects. That said, there is a revised ending to the URL which redirects to the description for "All Out Action" in the Roku Channel Store... but, if you use the original 'Action Channel Pro' link (as provided above), you will still be redirected to the correct webpage for this channel - regardless of which link you use.
