Greetings, Boils & Ghouls...
... and welcome to 'Day Seventeen' of "Abe R. Rant's Guide To Petrifying Podcasts on Roku" where I aim to bring you another batch of Hallowe'en / Horror-related audio series from the plethora of petrifying podcasts that have been released in recent years - any of which can be streamed to your TV via the magic of Roku media players - so, let's dim down those lights... for more audio frights! :-O
If you read my special hallowe'en blogathon preview - FOUND HERE - that I published seventeen days ago, then you'll know I plan to post one Hallowe'en / Horror related article each day, throughout the month of October, featuring an assortment of links to various podcasts beginning with the same letter of the alphabet every day of the month. For the sake of simplicity, I decided to begin this series of blog posts with the letter 'A' on 'Day One', followed by letter 'B' on 'Day Two', letter 'C' on 'Day Three', and so on and so forth, right the way through to letter 'Z' on 'Day Twenty-Six'. Obviously that will still leave five more days worth of posts, by the time we reach the end of the alphabet, so I'll put my thinking cap on (between now & then) to (hopefully) come up with some extra audio "treats" for you by then. With thirty-one posts of the most spook-tacular sounding series I can find, between now and the end of the month, you'll have lots of great choice for your listening pleasure as we count the days to Hallowe'en, as well as plenty of spine-tingling thrills & chills 'twixt now and All Hallows' Eve on October 31st! :-D
For my seventeenth post in this series I'm going to share a link to just one audio "treat" because, well... that's all there is, but (again) it'll be from the general spectrum of horror and the paranormal, with the "trick" (sic) being that the title for this podcast series begins with the letter 'Q' - and although (in truth) there was one more letter 'Q' podcast that might (otherwise) have made this post, I decided to hold it back for (possible) inclusion in the five bonus days of audio "treats" which will be featured from 'Day Twenty-Seven' to 'Day Thirty-One' (inclusive) of this month-long blogathon. In the event that it does not make the cut for those bonus posts, then I'll (probably) come back to this article and tack it on at the end. Still, without further ado, here is my suggestion for the one (of two) Hallowe'en / Horror-related podcast series... whose title begins with the letter 'Q' of the (horror) alphabet:-
Quietly Yours,: is a horror anthology series, inspired by those classic radio dramas of yesteryear, that brings you a chilling new tale of terror with each episode. This horror fiction podcast presents a new self-contained horror story every time, all of them performed by a full cast, and each comes complete with suitably spooky and/or horrifying sound effects, plus original music. Tune in every week to hear a chilling new tale: from ghosts and ghouls, to murder and mystery - n.b. not safe for bedtime! ;-) :-)

Anyhow, that's all there is for today... but do remember to come back again tomorrow, for my next batch of petrifying podcast recommendations, when I will provide lots more links to further audio "treats", only next time they'll be titles that begin with the letter 'R' of the (horror) alphabet, for 'Day Eighteen' of "Abe R. Rant's Guide To Petrifying Podcasts on Roku". Once again you will be able to listen to them all through one of the various channels on your Roku streaming media player(s) which were outlined in my 'Special Hallowe'en Blogathon Preview' post, that was published on the last day of September. Meanwhile... please be sure to visit the "Countdown To Hallowe'en" website and show your support for this annual online Hallowe'en extravaganza PLUS don't forget to use the links you find there and check out all the other 'Cryptkeepers' taking part this year. I know they'll appreciate it, if you visit their blogs and share your thoughts on the contribution(s) they've made! ;-) :-D
ONE LAST THING, BEFORE I GO: Don't forget that, aside from the Hallowe'en / Horror-themed ghastliness going on around these parts for the next month, you can also keep up with the UK Roku action (as it happens) by checking-out my regular 'Weekly RoundUp' posts each weekend where you will find up-to-the-minute info on all things Roku-related is posted on a weekly basis (well, almost).
Until the next time, then...
That's all folks !!
