Hi, everyone !!
Needless to say, the closing comment about my not being "able to work on the blog until (at least) the middle of the week (possibly later)", which can be found in the opening paragraph of my previous blog post "Roku UK Channel Store - Weekly RoundUp #76", went from "possibly later" to "whenever I get a chance" and I find myself (almost) a month on having had no time to catch-up with the missing bits of Roku-related news (that I was previously unable to publish due to time constraints following my "Summer Staycation") as well as being even further behind with my blogging duties. Not only have I not had a chance to flesh out the last four 'Weekly RoundUp' articles, but I've also fallen short with compiling all of the additional news & information for the current week. This should be resolved soon but I'm loathe to put an exact time-frame on it, as there's too many variables involved right now.
So... as with my previous posts, namely "Roku UK Channel Store - Weekly RoundUp #73" as well as "Roku UK Channel Store - Weekly RoundUp #74" in addition to "Roku UK Channel Store - Weekly RoundUp #75" and now "Roku UK Channel Store - Weekly RoundUp #76", all I can offer you is a brief summary of the latest channel additions to the "Official" Roku UK Channel Store from the past seven days. Again, you can expect all the Roku-related news from this past week, along with details of any changes to the channel selection found on NowTV Boxes, to be added sometime in the near future. Meanwhile, there's a couple of new religious channels among the selection of channels added this week and as with last week, if you happen to have an interest in current affairs stateside, there's a few more options for catching-up on local news from across the pond. All being well, I hope to be back on track by next weekend. Apologies for any inconvenience that may have been caused in the meantime.
Anyway, with all of the Roku-related news from the past seven days still to follow, let's now press on with details for the current 'Weekly RoundUp' of NEW ADDITIONS to the "Official" Roku UK Channel Store. This time, there are SIX NEW CHANNELS which have been added during the past seven days with the ADDED BONUS that (as with last week) they are ALL FREE although, for some bizarre reason, they (once again) all carry the disclaimer that the channel(s) "May require additional fees"?! It's still not clear whether this has been done "just in case" of any future paid content, or if it's going to be a standard quote for every channel description from this point on, but (for now) the content appears to be free-to-view. Needless to say, if I hear any more on the subject, I'll be sure to let you know. In the meantime, these latest additions to the channel line-up have provided us with FRESH CONTENT in the News, Weather, Sport, plus Religion & Spirituality genres (i.e. categories).
In keeping with previous installments from the 'Weekly RoundUp' series, details of these new channels have all been listed below, together with links to obtain further information {by clicking on the channel name(s) beneath the respective channel icon(s) as pictured} and to read a 'Roku Guide' review with an independent (slightly more expansive) assessment of each one:-

Anyhow, like it or not, that is your lot for this week and, whilst it doesn't quite the match-up to the thirteen channels which made it into the "Official" Roku USA Channel Store during the same time-frame, I always think it's better to have SOME NEW CHOICES than none at all, don't you ?!!
