Hi, everyone !!
Continuing the upward momentum of the last two weeks... there has been another increase in output, in respect of the number of new Roku channel releases, and I am (once again) pleased to report that we've had a further incremental rise in new apps when compared to the total from last week thanks to having YET ANOTHER MAMMOTH CROP OF NEW CHANNELS to boost the UK Channel Store total even higher. To wit, ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHT NEW ROKU APPS have been added to the already vast selection of over eight thousand five hundred apps which populated the channel store as of this time last week. That means we have now seen close to four thousand six hundred new apps made available, during a period of just forty-six weeks, any of which UK Roku owners can add to the individual selection of apps that are installed on their device(s). As if that wasn't enough... there were also several items of streaming-related news for me to report on but, as has been the case for the last few weeks I must (again) postpone my summary of Roku (and other) news from the past seven days until I can find time to catch up with everything and add the "missing" details to this post - since, right now, I must (instead) focus on listing all these 100+ new Roku apps for you! :-)
Before I get into the current list of channels, however, I would just like to point-out that the ongoing issue of "missing" reviews from the 'Roku Guide' website appears to have worsened (yet again) since my last mention of it on this blog. Over the last forty-six weeks, my 'Weekly RoundUp' posts have seen a total of 4,559 new channels added. Meanwhile, the number of 'Roku Guide' reviews being published during that time has continued to fall short of the mark. Quite how they managed to produce only 12 reviews, with just six from the current week, and; three more from last week, along with; three US-only channels, when there were upwards of 108+ new Roku channels released in the past seven days, is beyond me! :-O Unfortunately, this can't be seen as being an exception to the rule... because, digging through their archives, it soon becomes clear this has been happening all too frequently. Looking at all of the articles they've published since the start of the year, there has been a total of only 1,079 new reviews added to their website. So, with a minimum of one hundred and two more "missing" reviews from the past week, they remain more than seventy-five percent short of where they should be and, if this continues, there could be hundreds (if not thousands) more Roku apps with no corresponding independent review for me to provide a link from the 'Weekly RoundUp' posts on my blog. I hope the shortfall is addressed soon because, as mentioned 42 weeks ago, the current situation isn't good for anyone connected to Roku: be they end-users, developers, bloggers like myself, or even Roku - whose platform is the source 'Roku Guide' use to compile the reviews! :-O
Still, back to the list... which, as always, will help you to identify the very latest apps that have been added to Roku devices in the UK. Other websites offering Roku channel listings will base their contents on the Roku USA Channel Store, which means they also include apps that are unavailable to UK Roku users. So, like I've said before... if you really want to know what's available channel-wise, for owners of Roku devices in the UK, you need to be reading this blog each and every week! ;-) :-)

If I somehow succeed in bringing this matter to the attention of the developer / content provider, I'd expect to see this app given a permanent "home" under 'News & Weather' in the "Official" Roku UK Channel Store within a few weeks of so-doing. In the meantime, if you don't wish to trawl through the 'Just Added' category of the channel store to find it, I suggest you take advantage of the built-in Roku 'Search' feature to locate and install it. Using this method, you probably won't even need to finish typing the words "NOW-TV" before seeing the channel listed among the 'Search Results' displayed on the right-hand side of your television screen. Failure to assign a permanent channel store category for the UK within the next week or two (however) would mean that, once it ceases to be part of the 'Just Added' category, it would no longer be listed in the channel store. So, if you think you're likely to want this channel, my advice would be to install it by the end of November (at the latest) because, if the necessary edits are not made to the Roku channel package (.PKG file) by that time, you will not see it in there afterwards. Needless to say, if/when the channel is edited to include a permanent channel store category for the UK, I'll update this listing with details of whatever genre has been assigned to it. PLEASE NOTE:- This latest 'Living Life Church' app for the Roku platform should not be confused with an earlier release, going by the name of 'Realife Church' in the channel store, that is represented by the exact same channel icon (aka 'HD Poster' image) shown above and which was featured as part of my "Roku UK Channel Store - Weekly RoundUp #345" post, a little under one month ago. Both are from the same developer, which probably explains the duplicated image, but it remains unclear as to whether the similarity between the two faith-based channels goes beyond this one common link. If I hear from the developer, or discover anything more, I will (of course) update this post accordingly to reflect any additional information which comes to light. Meanwhile, considering the app is both free-to-add and free-to-stream for Roku users, you could always install it for yourself to find out what content is on offer and decide from there whether (or not) it's something you'd like to see more of! :-)

PLEASE NOTE:- This latest 'Keto 100' channel shouldn't be confused with another similarly-named app - the '100 Keto' channel - from my "Weekly RoundUp #335" post, that was released in August of this year. Nor should it be mistaken for the '100Keto' app - from my "Weekly RoundUp #339" post - which followed in September 2019. Also, while those earlier channels have similar though (slightly) different channel icons (aka 'HD Poster' images) to represent them in the Roku Channel Store, the current incarnation of this app uses a completely different one - with no reference to the developer displayed across the bottom of it. However, you need only take a quick look at the official description of this Roku channel to see that the same developer (i.e. TVAllSuperInfo) has also been credited with the creation of this latest clone from those earlier releases. Again, this appears to be yet another case of this developer "spamming" the channel store with multiple copies of the same app and still Roku seem to have done very little to prevent this sort of thing from happening again in the future. So let's hope they put a stop to this kind of shenanigans by certain developers sooner, rather than later! :-|

PLEASE NOTE:- This latest 'KERYGMA VISION TV' channel should not be confused with another similarly-named app release, going by the name of 'KerygmaTV' in the Roku Channel Store, that was featured previously on this blog in my "Roku UK Channel Store - Weekly RoundUp #278" post, way back, sometime around the beginning of July 2018. While both feature Spanish-language content, the earlier release was filed under "Religious" in the channel store and developed by 'UnoRed' who have also produced many other faith-based apps for the Roku platform... whereas this more recent channel addition has 'Relentless Innovations' credited with the development of the app and the "Educational" category (i.e. genre) has been assigned as it's permanent "home" within the Roku Channel Store.

PLEASE NOTE:- That, although the name used to represent this new 'Hot Chick Cinema' app in the Roku Channel Store does not (quite) match the title of "Hot Chicks Cinema" which is displayed upon the channel icon (aka 'HD Poster' image) assigned to it by the developer, the (slight) difference in the text used - i.e. "Chick" (in the singular sense) versus "Chicks" (in the plural sense) - is entirely down to the creator of this channel and not as the result of any "typo" on my part. For the record, the URL ending which features in the (above) link to an official description of the channel on the Roku website also includes the singular form, "Chick", but it could (of course) still prove to be incorrect. Whether the developer will see fit to alter either the title and/or the channel icon assigned to this app such that everything matches (as one might expect) remains unclear (at the time of writing) but, if/when there are any notable alterations to the channel details, I will update this article to reflect those change(s).
ALSO:- While this new 'Hot Chick Cinema' channel for Roku devices can be found within the 'Just Added' category (i.e. genre) of the "Official" Roku UK Channel Store, no permanent category / genre had (at the time of writing) been assigned to the channel in the UK. If I somehow succeed in bringing this matter to the attention of the developer / content provider, I'd expect to see this app given a permanent "home" under 'Film & TV' or 'Special Interest' in the "Official" Roku UK Channel Store within a few weeks of so-doing. In the meantime, if you don't wish to trawl through the 'Just Added' category of the channel store to find it, I suggest you take advantage of the built-in Roku 'Search' feature to locate and install it. Using this method, you probably won't even need to finish typing the words "Hot Chick" before seeing the channel listed among the 'Search Results' displayed on the right-hand side of your television screen. Failure to assign a permanent channel store category for the UK within the next week or two (however) would mean that, once it ceases to be part of the 'Just Added' category, it would no longer be listed in the channel store. So, if you think you're likely to want this channel, my advice would be to install it by the end of November (at the latest) because, if the necessary edits are not made to the Roku channel package (.PKG file) by that time, you will not see it in there afterwards. Needless to say, if/when the channel is edited to include a permanent channel store category for the UK, I'll update this listing with details of whatever genre has been assigned to it. As mentioned above I'd expect this to be the 'Film & TV' or 'Special Interest' genre, but it could (possibly) wind-up in another category.

PLEASE NOTE:- That the title, assigned to this app, of "A hora dos Desenhon Animados" features a "typo" by the developer in respect of the word "Desenhos" whereby the spelling used does not match the one displayed across the channel icon (aka 'HD Poster' image) used to represent the app in the Roku Channel Store. Even the official description includes the word "desenhos" (ending with an "s", as per the icon) so presumably the letter "n" was simply used by mistake when first naming the channel for the Roku platform. The same error applies to the URL ending for the web address assigned to the official description of this app from the Roku Channel Store online. Whether they will bother to correct this (or not) will depend on the developer (AWG Media) realising, or otherwise being informed of, their error. Needless to say, if they do make the necessary change(s) to the title of their channel, I will (of course) update my post accordingly to reflect any alterations to this app! ;-) :-)
