With such a vast number of new channels last week, you'd expect the numbers to be lower in the past seven days but, instead, we've had ANOTHER DECENT CROP OF NEW CHANNEL ADDITIONS to further boost the UK Channel Store total. To wit, no less than SIXTY-NINE NEW ROKU APPS have been added to the already vast selection of over five thousand nine hundred which populated the channel store as of this time last week. This means we've now been blessed with nearly six hundred new apps, during a period of just six weeks, any of which UK Roku owners can add to the individual selection of apps that are installed on their device(s). These recent additions include one hundred and twenty-five new Roku channels (i.e. apps) from my 'Weekly RoundUp' post of five weeks ago, plus ninety-two new apps featured in my post of four weeks ago, along with ninety-three more new Roku channel releases from three weeks ago, plus a further eighty-three apps two weeks ago, not to forget the one hundred and twenty new channels listed in my previous 'Weekly RoundUp' post which was published this time last week. As if all that wasn't enough, there's the sixty-nine new apps released during the past seven days! So, much like other recent 'Weekly RoundUp' posts, I must (again) forego my summary of Roku-related news so I can assemble a list of all these new apps...
...the idea being that, with no Roku-related news to share, I can (instead) focus on the important task of providing details for all the latest new Roku channels (apps) which were released during the seven days since my last 'Weekly RoundUp' post was published and, with ANOTHER HUGE SELECTION of 69 new Roku channels, that should (hopefully) be more than enough to keep you occupied while I see what snippets of Roku-related news I can find for you in the coming week! ;-) :-)
Before I get into the current list of channels, I'd just like to mention that the issue of 'undefined' apps (i.e. those with no permanent category shown in the web channel store description) still doesn't seem to have been resolved. Unfortunately, the situation has only worsened over the last seven days with neither Roku and/or the developers appearing to have sorted-out whatever problem has been causing so many new channels to be added without a permanent category. My 'Weekly RoundUp' posts have seen a total of 582 new channels added in the last six weeks... however, the corresponding channel totals from individual genres (i.e. categories) within the Roku (UK) Channel Store over that time-frame would suggest that only 219 new channels were added. This means almost two-thirds of the recent additions over the last month or so are un-accounted for within the channel store. Likewise, the number of 'Roku Guide' reviews being published has continued to fall short of the mark during that period. Looking at all of the articles they have published since the start of the year, there has been a total of only 198 new reviews added to their website. As with the (UK) channel store totals, this is at least two-thirds shy of what there should be and if things continue as they are, there may be hundreds (if not thousands) of Roku channels without a corresponding independent review for me to provide a link from the relevant 'Weekly RoundUp' posts on my blog. Hopefully, this shortfall will be addressed (sooner, rather than later) because, as I mentioned two weeks ago, the current state of affairs is not good for anyone with a connection to the Roku platform... whether end-users, developers, bloggers like myself, reviewers such as 'Roku Guide', or even Roku - who seem blissfully unaware of it all !!
Anyway, back to the list... which, as always, will help you to identify the very latest apps that have been added to Roku devices in the UK. Other websites offering Roku channel listings will base their contents on the Roku USA Channel Store, which means they also include apps that are unavailable to UK Roku users. So, like I've said before... if you really want to know what's available channel-wise, for owners of Roku devices in the UK, you need to be reading this blog each and every week! ;-) :-)

PLEASE NOTE:- That, at the time of it's original release, "Leave It To Beaver TV" was the given name for the above channel... but, shortly after it first appeared in the "Official" Roku Channel Store as a "public" channel, the name was then amended by the developer, 'ToNic Innovations', to the new "Beaver Cleaver" format. This rebranding was (presumably) done so as to better distinguish it from another similarly-named channel which also just happens to be referenced in the 'Roku Guide' review (see link above) although they neglected to mention the subsequent change of name for this new app. For those who may be wondering why the links to both the official description of the channel, found on the Roku Web Channel Store, and the afore-mentioned 'Roku Guide' review each point towards the original name in their respective URL's... this should hopefully provide sufficient explanation. By way of further clarification, while the original link to the channel description still redirects you to the same page on the Roku website, the new "Beaver Cleaver" name is now displayed there! ;-) :-)
