Hi, everyone !!
Before I get into the main portion of this 'Weekly RoundUp' post, I'd just like to share the details of a recent LIMITED-TIME SPECIAL OFFER I came across to SAVE 60% OFF THE USUAL COST of a 'SKY SPORTS MONTH PASS' from NOW TV and PAY ONLY £12.99 FOR A WHOLE MONTH of live sporting action across ten 'Sky Sports' channels, instead of the regular £33.99 per month cost for this particular 'NowTV' pass. Here's the promo banner from their website confirming the offer:-
HINT:- Please CLICK on the above image TO ENLARGE IT for easier viewing !!
There was no indication on the NOW TV website as to when the offer might expire but, given that it seems to be linked with the forthcoming 'Ryder Cup' golf tournament (28th - 30th September 2018) it is likely to be available at least until the start (or, possibly, the end) of that event. To take advantage of this deal, which is available for both new and existing customers, you must do as follows:-
EXISTNG CUSTOMERS - Apply Voucher Code: SMPUWD6XKLNN under 'Passes & Vouchers'
NEW CUSTOMERS - Register an account VIA THIS LINK to redeem the offer when you sign-up
The Terms and Conditions (T&C's) for this offer are such that:- The voucher code entitles recipients to a Sky Sports Month Pass for £12.99 (standard price currently £33.99). Available to new & existing NOW TV customers without a Sky Sports Pass only. The offer price is only valid for one month. Once your offer period ends your Sky Sports Month Pass will automatically renew at £33.99 a month unless cancelled. You may cancel anytime. The offer is not available to NOW TV Combo customers. You can only have one 'Sky Sports' Pass in your account at any one time. This offer is not available with any other offers. One offer per customer. See nowtv.com for a full list of compatible devices. Red button and interactive services are unavailable. All live scheduling may be subject to change.
While we're on the subject of 'NOW TV' and, more specifically, the range of 'Sky Sports' passes that are available through the streaming service... this past week has seen the introduction of a new type of 'NowTV Sport' pass, designed to be used exclusively with a mobile device, which brings a limited selection of 'Sky Sports' channels to smartphones for the wallet-friendly price of just £5.99 per month
ONCE AGAIN:- Please CLICK on the above image TO ENLARGE IT for easier viewing !!
Before you go rushing to the 'NOW TV' website to "Buy a Sky Sports Mobile Month Pass" online, it is important to understand that - unlike regular Day / Week / Month passes from 'NowTV Sport' - you do not get access to all ten 'Sky Sports' channels with this new mobile month pass. Instead, there is a whittled-down choice of ONLY 4 LIVE 'SKY SPORTS' CHANNELS AVAILABLE as shown:-
- Sky Sports Premier League
- Sky Sports Action
- Sky Sports Arena
- Sky Sports News
So, if you were hoping the new 'Sky Sports Mobile Month Pass' would allow you to live stream any of the other 'Sky Sports' channels, including: Sky Sports Football; Sky Sports Cricket; Sky Sports F1; Sky Sports Golf (currently rebranded as Sky Sports Ryder Cup); Sky Sports Main Event, and/or; Sky Sports Mix, for a single low monthly fee... then you are out-of-luck, as they are simply not there! :-(
Aside from having a restricted choice of live 'Sky Sports' channels to stream, a quick read through the related FAQ's on the 'NOW TV' website reveals - under "What's a Sky Sports Mobile Month Pass?" - that YOU CAN ONLY STREAM "ON ONE DEVICE AT A TIME" WITH THIS PASS so, coupled with other NowTV device limits in respect of how many changes can be made per month, this budget offering may prove more of a headache than it's worth for those already frustrated by these rules! :-(
The other major caveat, when considering the purchase of a 'Sky Sports Mobile Month Pass' is that those who do so will be UNABLE TO CAST OR STREAM TO LARGER SCREENS from within this mobile month pass. This means anyone wishing to watch on their big screen TV, instead of using their significantly smaller smartphone screen, will still need to purchase one of the existing 'NowTV Sport' passes, such as the Sky Sports Day Pass (£7.99); Sky Sports Week Pass (£12.99), or; Sky Sports Month Pass (£33.99) in order to do so. This kind of inflexibility, coupled with the restrictions over the device limit associated with the 'Sky Sports Mobile Month Pass' and which channels you can watch through it, are likely to mean the appeal of this new pass is very niche because, in the majority of cases, you will be better-off with one of the original 'NowTV Sport' passes.
On the plus side, however, the new 'Sky Sports Mobile Month Pass' can - like other 'NOW TV' passes - also be used while visiting most countries within the EU... which means that both new and existing customers, who wish to take advantage of what it has to offer on their smartphone, can do so whether they are in the United Kingdom at the time, or elsewhere in the European Union (EU) subject to the usual Terms & Conditions (T&C's) which apply to the use of this and other NowTV passes! ;-) :-)
By way of an added bonus, if you happen to already be in the market for a 'Sky Sports Day Pass' or a 'Sky Sports Week Pass', you can TRY THE 'SKY SPORTS MOBILE MONTH PASS' FOR FREE by purchasing either one using the relevant option to buy one and get the mobile month pass thrown-in:-
Just like the 'Sky Sports Month Pass' promotion (outlined above) these additional limited-time offers are available to both new and existing customers of 'NOW TV' who can claim this deal as follows:-
FOR EXISTING 'NOW TV' CUSTOMERS:
- Sky Sports Day Pass + FREE 1-Month Mobile Pass - Use Voucher Code: SPDPWA7UE5H2
- Sky Sports Week Pass + FREE 1-Month Mobile Pass - Use Voucher Code: SPWPWACZ4VXC
The above voucher codes can be redeemed by signing-in to your 'NOW TV' account online, and then navigating through the menu to the "Passes & vouchers" section, where you need only click the link to "Apply a voucher" under the relevant section for the pass you intend to purchase for the offer to be applied to your account. Prices for each pass are as indicated in the screenshot image above.
FOR NEW 'NOW TV' CUSTOMERS:
- Register an account VIA THIS LINK to get a Sky Sports Day Pass + FREE 1-Month Mobile Pass
OR
- Register an account VIA THIS LINK to get a Sky Sports Week Pass + FREE 1-Month Mobile Pass
PLEASE REMEMBER:- That, while the 'Sky Sports' Day / Week passes purchased from 'NOW TV' do not auto-renew (as is the case with the 'Sky Sports Month Pass' they sell), once the promotion for your free 1-Month 'Sky Sports' mobile pass has ended... the 'Sky Sports Month Pass' will auto-renew at a cost of £5.99 PER MONTH unless it is cancelled well in advance of the renewal date. Personal experience has taught me that, if you do not intend to continue beyond the initial free period, it's best to cancel the pass right away (I usually do so right after it's been activated - i.e. on day one) to avoid any chance of forgetting to cancel the pass before it auto-renews. This has proven to be good practice, especially since 'NOW TV' / 'Sky' are very often keen to get your money and process the payment(s) a day or two earlier than you may otherwise expect them to. Provided you take this for what it is, and (like I mentioned before) were going to buy a 'Sky Sports' Day / Week Pass anyway, this is a decent way to get additional live sports coverage over & above what you paid for... but, generally speaking, were it not included as a freebie (as in this case) the 'Sky Sports Mobile Month Pass' doesn't appear to have much to offer that hasn't already been catered-to by the existing range of 'NowTV Sport' passes and, because of the afore-mentioned drawbacks, I cannot see myself paying for one going forward.
Sticking with SVOD services for the moment, but moving away from 'NOW TV' to discuss other streaming news from the past week, there was quite a buzz around these parts when the first trailer for forthcoming 'Netflix Original' series "The Haunting of Hill House" was released. In case you missed it, I've decided to include the trailer as part of this article... because, it really does look that good! :-D
I especially liked the haunting piano (instrumental) version of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young’s classic track, "Our House", which was used in this official trailer - released to herald the arrival of the latest adaptation of Shirley Jackson’s 1959 horror novel - and can't wait for this horror series to be available via the 'Netflix' service. Luckily, it's streaming from 12th October 2018 in all regions worldwide! :-D
For those who may not be familiar with the story, here is the official synopsis:-
Previously adapted (twice) into a feature-length film (both) entitled "The Haunting", with the 1963 version (directed by Robert Wise) being more noteworthy than the 1999 effort, this latest 10-episode series: written, produced, and directed by Mike Flanagan (also known for "Oculus" and "Hush") looks set to be a truly terrifying work of televisual storytelling... and, for what it's worth, the original Shirley Jackson-penned novel just happens to be a favourite of horror writer Stephen King - so, all things considered, this is one ghost story that should be on everyone's watch-list for Hallowe'en! :-D
Another spooky 'Netflix' series that looks set to cast a spell (if you'll pardon the pun) over the world of streaming 'twixt now and Hallowe'en is "Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina" exploring the origins of "Sabrina the Teenage Witch" as a dark coming-of-age story that blends-in horror, and the occult, amid the usual witchcraft. Once again, 'Netflix' has released an official teaser trailer... and here it is:-
Bearing the same name as the comic (published by Archie Horror) this new series from 'Netflix' and 'The CW' stars Kiernan Shipka (Mad Men) as 'Sabrina' with Ross Lynch as 'Harvey Kinkle', her love interest, and Lucy Davis (The Office) plus Miranda Otto (LOTR) as her two aunts, Hilda and Zelda. You can expect the "Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina" series to premiere on 'Netflix' two weeks after "The Haunting of Hill House" as it's streaming from 26th October 2018 in all regions worldwide! :-D
In addition to seeing Miranda Otto as 'Zelda Spellman', Sabrina’s more stern witch aunt, I'm also very much looking forward to see how Michelle Gomez (in her role as the 'Madam Satan' character) tries to lure Sabrina down the "Path of Night" while (in her role as the 'Ms. Mary Wardell' character) she is Sabrina’s favourite teacher (and mentor) at Baxter High. Meanwhile, here's another publicity photo:-
Of course, there's a host of other great characters (and storylines) to be found throughout the series - which sees 'Sabrina' attempt to reconcile her dual nature (half-witch, half-mortal) while she takes a stand against the evil forces which threaten herself, her family and the daylight world humans inhabit but, if you wish to know more about those, you'll have to wait until the series lands on 'Netflix'! ;-)
With two great series like those, plus plenty more besides to choose from, it's no wonder that 'Netflix' has proven to be so popular amongst streamers. Such has been their success that the likes of 'BBC', 'Channel 4', and 'ITV' have been in talks about joining forces to create a British streaming service to combat the ever-increasing power of 'Netflix' (and 'Prime Video' from Amazon) in the UK. Prior to now... the main stumbling block preventing this from becoming a reality was uncertainty surrounding content licensed to 'UKTV' but, according to a recent article on 'The Guardian' website, U.S. Pay-TV company 'Discovery' are understood to be in the final stages of talks with the 'BBC' over a £1 Billion break-up of 'UKTV', which could in turn accelerate plans to build a British-based rival to 'Netflix'.
As I understand it... the 'BBC' had long sought to take sole control of 'UKTV', over which they have joint-ownership together with 'Discovery', but without the financial flexibility to stage a buyout and no partner onboard to share the cost (after talks with 'ITV' and 'Channel 4' failed to produce a result) it seems they have (instead) decided to simply split all of the 'UKTV' assets between them. While it's not (yet) clear how the split would be achieved, it seems likely that the channels which feature more archive content from the 'BBC' will go to them, while the remainder will be taken by 'Discovery'. If a final agreement can be reached, the proposal could get the green light by the end of the month - when the 'BBC' holds it's next board meeting. That said, there will still need to be further talks with 'ITV' over Video-On-Demand (VOD) rights and with 'Channel 4' who could (potentially) lose millions in ad revenue over the break-up of 'UKTV' because they (currently) handle the ad sales contract for the broadcaster. With similar talks (around two years ago) breaking-down over a UK collaboration, it did (at least) result in the formation of 'Britbox' in the U.S. - between the 'BBC' and 'ITV' - but, at that time, although it was hoped that 'Channel 4' would join them for an equivalent venture in the UK... nothing ever came of it. So let's hope this latest development, between the 'BBC' and 'Discovery', over the break-up of 'UKTV' is managed successfully because, if it is, we will be another step closer to having a unified powerhouse for UK content provided by British broadcasters to UK streamers! :-)
While the traditional Over-The-Air (OTA) broadcast companies are looking to unite over plans for a UK-based 'Netflix' rival, Britain's main satellite broadcaster 'Sky' have themselves been in talks with 'Netflix' over a partnership which will see them working together for the greater good of both. It has long been known that 'Netflix' would be coming to 'Sky' and (later) to 'NOW TV' at some point... but, with the latest press release from the 'Sky Corporate' media centre, it was revealed that 'Netflix' will be coming to 'Sky Q' in November 2018 - so we finally have a timeline for this phase of the project!
The arrival of 'Netflix' on the 'Sky Q' platform will see the introduction of a new subscription pack for 'Sky' customers, called "Ultimate On Demand", which brings together the full 'Netflix' service plus all of the 'Sky' box sets (currently 400+ of the best UK and US TV series) in one seamless package. For those who may be interested, "Ultimate On Demand" (UOD) will be £10 per month, for all new and existing 'Sky' customers, on top of any 'Sky Q' subscription. Unlike most 'Sky' contracts, that require new and/or renewing customers to commit to longer periods, the new "Ultimate On Demand" pack is available on a 31-day rolling contract (much like many of the 'NOW TV' passes) making it far more flexible and much better value than many of their other offerings. 'Sky Q Entertainment' customers will get the Netflix 'Standard' plan (2 HD streams) and can only watch 'Sky Box Sets' in 'HD' using their "Ultimate On Demand" pack. Those with a 'Sky Q Premium' subscription, 'Sky Q Experience' (multi-room and Ultra HD), can enjoy the 'Netflix Premium' plan (in Ultra HD with up to 4 streams) but it's worth noting that, to access 'Ultra HD' content on 'Sky Q', customers must have a 2TB box and a “Sky Q Experience” (previously Q Multiscreen) subscription.
Existing 'Sky Q' customers with 'Netflix' will be able to easily move their account to the new pack, or sign-in to the 'Netflix' app on 'Sky Q' using their existing 'Netflix' account details. On the other hand, all 'Sky+' customers will first need to upgrade to 'Sky Q' if they wish to be able to access any 'Netflix' content through their set top box. Payment for the "Ultimate On Demand" pack will be added to customers’ monthly 'Sky' bills, making it easier than ever to sign-up, which removes the need to pay separately for each service. Meanwhile, customers with an existing 'Netflix' subscription that migrate their existing 'Netflix' account to their new 'UOD' account will keep their existing 'Netflix' profiles + recommendations and can continue to watch 'Netflix' on all their usual Netflix-supported devices.
Not quite so "seamless" is that, while titles available to download can still be watched on the go, 'Sky' shows will only be available via the 'Sky Go' mobile app and 'Netflix' shows will only be streamable through the 'Netflix' mobile app. Personally, I think I'll stick to watching 'Netflix' and 'NOW TV' on my Roku devices because I grew tired of paying 'Sky'-high satellite prices long ago and switched to streaming. Having saved a fortune in the interim, as a direct result of my switch to streaming, I don't see my changing back in the foreseeable future... and, from my perspective, the most signifiant thing about this news is that it's a clear indicator of 'Netflix' being one step closer to having their app in the NOW TV 'App Store' found on all NowTV-branded products, as announced at the end of last year. If, however, you are still tied to a satellite subscription - and would like to add 'Netflix' to the services on your 'Sky Q' box - you can pre-register your interest in "Ultimate On Demand" at sky.com/Netflix
The other major app (i.e. Roku channel) that has been promised to arrive on the 'NOW TV' platform in the (not too distant) future will come courtesy of 'BT Sport' and, with the 'BT Showcase' channel having fallen silent (i.e. been taken off the air) a few months ago now, I thought it may be worthwhile mentioning where you can still (at least) catch highlights of any UEFA Champions League matches for free online - in the absence of any 'Freeview' channel from 'BT' as was previously used for this.
Unfortunately, the latest deal between 'UEFA' and 'BT' means that there is no longer any requirement to broadcast a set number of games on a free-to-air basis. Whether this was made easier by the fact that 'BT' achieved such poor ratings compared to the viewing figures when coverage was on 'ITV' is anybody's guess. Cynics might even suggest that 'BT' deliberately chose to poorly promote the games they did show on 'Freeview' to further this end, and moving the channel from 'SD' to 'HD' would have reduced their viewing figures even more - since not everyone in the UK is in range of a transmitter that is capable of relaying 'HD' broadcasts. Whatever the reason, we now need a Roku channel (app) for 'BT Sport' now more than ever... because our options for streaming are few and far between! :-(
So while we continue to wait for a Roku channel (app) from 'BT Sport' to fill this void, and provide a legal live streaming option to those of us with Roku players and/or NowTV-branded devices, you can (for the time being) catch highlights of those matches for free on the 'BT Sport' website using a PC / Mac desktop browser. Likewise, if you wish to keep-up with all the goals "as they happen" on match days, the best source I have found is the official Twitter Feed: @BTSportFootball which can (again) be accessed from your computer, or pretty much any device with an internet connection! ;-) :-)
With 'BT' having increased it's prices across a number of services as of the 16th September 2018, and bearing in mind you'd need to subscribe to 'BT Sport' to see any live Champions or Europa League coverage, these free online catch-up alternatives are better than nothing... which, until the arrival of a 'BT Sport' channel (app) for the Roku / NowTV platform(s), is pretty much all we're going to get! ;-)
Anyway, with no other Roku-related news to share with you at this time, I'm now going to focus on the equally important matter of bringing you details for all the latest new Roku channels (apps) which were released during the seven days since my last 'Weekly RoundUp' post was published and, with a decent crop of seventy new Roku channels to browse through, that should be more than enough to keep you occupied while I compile the odd snippets of Roku-related news which I found for you! :-)

The Haunting of Hill House explores a group of siblings who, as children, grew up in what would go on to become the most famous haunted house in the country. Now adults, and forced back together in the face of tragedy, the family must finally confront the ghosts of their past - some of which still lurk in their minds, while others may actually be stalking the shadows of Hill House! :-O

Likewise, if you wish to keep-up with all the goals "as they happen" on match days, the best source I have found is the official Twitter Feed: @BTSportFootball which can (again) be accessed from your computer, or pretty much any device with an internet connection! ;-) :-)
With 'BT' having increased it's prices across a number of services as of the 16th September 2018, and bearing in mind you'd need to subscribe to 'BT Sport' to see any live Champions or Europa League coverage, these free online catch-up alternatives are better than nothing... which, until the arrival of a 'BT Sport' channel (app) for the Roku / NowTV platform(s), is pretty much all we're going to get! ;-)
Firstly, though, I'd just like to mention (on a not entirely un-related note) that I have now added links to some (though, still not all) of the 'Roku Guide' reviews that were previously "missing" for many of the new Roku channels released in the last few weeks... most of the additions were for Roku channels that were released two weeks ago but there were a couple more from three weeks ago, and lots of reviews for the channels added last week as well. So, if you'd like to see an independent appraisal of those, be sure to check-out the relevant posts (see links above), each of which contains a link to the previous week's post (and so-on, and so-forth), for details of where to find them. Unfortunately, there are more "missing" links to 'Roku Guide' reviews for over ninety per cent of the new Roku apps that were published during the last seven days... which means, much like many other posts from recent months, I am going to have to leave it for you to access those on your own. As of seven months ago, you can choose to do that either via the built-in channel store on your Roku device(s)... or else, by following the links in each post to the relevant channel description(s) from the Roku Web Channel Store. Meanwhile, once the "missing" reviews have been published by 'Roku Guide', I will (as I have done previously) ensure that I add the relevant links to each post. Apologies (as always) for any inconvenience that may be caused by the absence of active links to an independent review for all of these new apps but, like I say, it's entirely out of my hands. Hopefully they will get a chance to catch-up on them sometime in the coming week!?! ;-) :-)
Still, back to the list... which, as always, will help you to identify the very latest apps that have been added to Roku devices in the UK. Other websites offering Roku channel listings will base their contents on the Roku USA Channel Store, which means they also include apps that are unavailable to UK Roku users. So, like I've said before... if you really want to know what's available channel-wise, for owners of Roku devices in the UK, you need to be reading this blog each and every week! ;-) :-)
With twice the number of active links to check out, not just for this week... but each and every post that has been previously published as part of my 'Weekly RoundUp' series over the last five years, there's a *lot* of reading to catch-up on. So, without further ado, here's my 'Weekly RoundUp' of all new Roku channels released between 16th September 2018 and 22nd September 2018:-

PLEASE NOTE:- That, while this 'On Hair with Erin' channel is FREE-TO-ADD to Roku device(s) and does include a 7-DAY FREE TRIAL through which to assess the relative merits of the service, anyone wishing to maintain full access to the content therein - beyond the initial promotional period - should note that A SUBSCRIPTION WILL BE REQUIRED at a cost of USD $4.99 PER MONTH or else the alternative of USD $49.99 PER YEAR for those who prefer to pay annually and benefit from the savings associated with that yearly payment option. That said, you are able to browse the video library without charge (prior to subscribing) but you will only find one completely FREE-TO-VIEW (i.e. unlocked) video, demonstrating a 4-strand ribbon braid. SHIMMER WOMENS PRO WRESTLING....COST: FREE + $9.99 (MONTHLY) [Roku Guide Review]
***FILED UNDER: "SPORTS" in the Roku UK Channel Store WHEN FIRST RELEASED***
PLEASE NOTE:- That, while this 'SHIMMER Womens Pro Wrestling' channel is FREE-TO-ADD to your Roku device(s) and does permit you to browse the video library (currently 61 titles) without the need to register, anyone interested in watching this collection of archived pro wrestling events should be aware that A SUBSCRIPTION WILL BE REQUIRED at a cost of USD $9.99 PER MONTH prior to streaming any of the content contained therein. Moreover, while the official description for this app states that events are added to the library "on a regular basis", the 'Roku Guide' review observes that (of all the current events listed) the most recent of those is dated October 2013. Now, it could prove to be the case that any subsequent events which get added to the library are more recent than the ones which populated the archive when the channel was launched... but, prior to subscribing, it might be worth visiting the official website of 'SHIMMER Wrestling' for a better idea of what to expect if you do decide to subscribe going forward. For those of you who would prefer to connect with them via social media channels, there is both an official Twitter Feed: @ShimmerWomen as well as an official FB Page:- Shimmer Women (Facebook) through which you can get in touch. In the meantime, there are also a bunch of additional videos on Dave Prazak's YouTube Channel (lots of them more recent) which, as you might expect, are FREE-TO-STREAM on Roku devices & other 'YouTube' platforms.
ONE 4 KIDS...................COST: FREE (14-day trial) + $3.99 (MONTHLY) [Roku Guide Review]
***FILED UNDER: "KIDS & FAMILY" in the Roku UK Channel Store WHEN RELEASED***
PLEASE NOTE:- That, while this 'One 4 Kids' channel is FREE-TO-ADD to Roku device(s) and does include a 14-DAY FREE TRIAL through which to assess the relative merits of the service, anyone wishing to maintain full access to the content therein - beyond the initial promotional period - should note that A SUBSCRIPTION WILL BE REQUIRED at a cost of USD $3.99 PER MONTH or else the alternative of USD $39.99 PER YEAR for those who prefer to pay annually and benefit from the savings associated with that yearly payment option. That said, you are able to browse the video library without charge (prior to subscribing) and you'll find there are twenty-one FREE-TO-STREAM (i.e. unlocked) videos, providing visual learning that caters to children from the Muslim community. You will also find an additional video, promoting the official 'One 4 Kids' mobile app for iOS (Apple) plus Android devices, as well as a complete breakdown of all video categories found within this app in the 'Roku Guide' review (see link above) but it may also be a good idea to visit the official website of 'One 4 Kids' to discover more about their service. Then... should you have further questions which remain unanswered, after visiting their website, you can connect with the people behind this series of educational videos via their Twitter Feed: @One4kids_Zaky or FB Page:- Zaky Friends (Facebook) where I feel certain they will be only too pleased to provide any extra details you might need! :-D

THE REAL SONCERAE....COST: FREE (n.b. may require additional fees) [Roku Guide Review]
***FILED UNDER: "COMEDY" in the Roku UK Channel Store WHEN FIRST RELEASED***
PLEASE NOTE:- That, although the description for 'The Real Soncerae' channel carries the warning that this app "May require additional fees", I was unable to ascertain any reason as to why or when this might apply. Currently, this Roku channel offers just four videos from the 'YouTube' channel of the same name and (unsurprisingly) they are all FREE-TO-STREAM on your Roku device(s) or any platform that supports the 'YouTube' app. If interested, the 'Roku Guide' review (see link above) has a complete overview of the four video titles (each around 10-minutes in length) that can (currently) be found within 'The Real Soncerae' channel on Roku, as well as an embedded version of one of these videos - taken from 'The Real Soncerae' channel on 'YouTube' - explaining Soncerae's feelings over leaving Atlanta and why others should "Get out" while they still can! :-O ;-) As per the description of this Roku channel... this YouTuber has a story to tell, and does so in the name of healing / self-repair. You can discover more on her official website and, for those who'd like to connect with Soncerae via social media channels, there is an official FB Page:- Soncerae (Facebook) through which to do so! :-)

***FILED UNDER: "APPS" in the Roku UK Channel Store WHEN FIRST RELEASED***
PLEASE NOTE:- That, although this 'Ambient TV' channel is FREE-TO-ADD to Roku device(s) and does offer preview clips that are FREE-TO-STREAM for each of the "ambient" videos in this collection (feat. rain, waterfalls, wind, waves, and fireplace videos) that are available to purchase, anyone wishing to view them in their entirety should be aware that PAYMENT IS REQUIRED at a cost of USD $0.99 (GBP £0.69) PER VIDEO before you can watch them in full.
ALSO:- The 'Roku Guide' review observed that selecting the "Buy Now" button returns a message requiring confirmation that you want a subscription and, because of the confusing / conflicting choice of wording, goes on to suggest checking your Roku account to be certain you only made a one-time purchase and that this purchase will not be billed as a recurring subscription fee.

***FILED UNDER: "SPORTS" in the Roku UK Channel Store WHEN FIRST RELEASED***
PLEASE NOTE:- This 'Braille Skateboarding TV' channel lasted less than one week in the "Official" Roku Channel Store before being completely withdrawn from the Roku platform and replaced by an (almost) exact clone that had merely been re-packaged, re-branded with a (slightly) shorter name, and re-released as 'Braille Skateboarding' less than a week later. You will find the latest incarnation of this channel feature in my "Roku UK Channel Store - Weekly RoundUp #290" post and should use the links you find there to access details for the app, because the above channel store link is now invalid.
