Roku UK Channel Store - Weekly RoundUp #143

Hi, everyone !!

Attempting to squeeze in two blog posts in one day on a Saturday got me feeling like I'd somehow travelled back in time to October and was feeling the (nevertheless welcome) pressure of taking part in the "Countdown To Hallowe'en". This time, however, it was down to my updating another of my channel store listings... with the idea being that I will do one per day throughout December, so as to be fully up-to-date before the festivities kick-in at the end of the month. Fortunately, there weren't too many new additions to the "Official" Roku UK Channel Store during the past seven days... although, once again, there were lots of extra details for some of those we did get, and a handful of "missing" reviews which were not available from 'Roku Guide' at the time this post was first compiled. So, being (once more) rather pushed for time, I'm going to have to maintain my recent trend of jumping straight into the list of new channel additions and then fleshing-out the Roku-related news aspects of the article and other "missing" details as and when I get chance. Anyway, without further ado, here goes:-

Instead, the link I've provided (above) will redirect you to the official website for the 'CaribBe TV' channel, where further information can be obtained. Likewise, there is no active link to an 'Roku Guide' review of the 'CaribBe TV' channel. Needless to say, should this situation change at any point in the future, I will add the "missing" links to this post just as soon as I have the details.

MEANWHILE... there is a SPECIAL LIMITED INTRODUCTORY OFFER from those generous souls at 'CaribBe TV' whereby new subscribers get their FIRST MONTH FREE as shown below:-

Of course, once the free trial has ended, A SUBSCRIPTION OF £9.99 PER MONTH WILL APPLY for those who wish to continue viewing beyond that first month... *********************************************

Anyhow, like it or not,   for this week and, thanks mainly to the couple of extra channels (which were previously published via the "Official" Roku USA Channel Store in July 2014) making a late (but still very much appreciated) arrival on Roku devices in the UK, we have managed to exceed the nine channels which made it into the "Official" Roku  Channel Store during the same time-frame, with the selection of 10 NEW CHANNELS shown above. Way to go, Roku UK !!!!
thatis your lotjust about USA

Small victories aside... hopefully everyone in the UK with a Roku player managed to find something they like within the ten "public" channels outlined above... or else from the "private" channels, whose access codes were "gifted" to you via the companion Twitter Feed to this blog, at various points throughout the last seven days. That said, if you didn't find anything to add to your Roku channel selection from the assortment of channels on offer this week, you can always pay us a visit another time when, with any luck, there will be something more to your liking. Afterall, there's no point installing every channel because like I've said before... when it comes to adding more new channels to your Roku devices, IT'S YOUR CHOICE and, as with all things Roku... THE CHOICE IS ALWAYS YOURS!

*********************************************

As mentioned previously, you can expect my usual summary of all the goings-on (or not) in the (severely restricted) Roku Channel Store that features on NowTV Boxes to follow in the near future. Meanwhile, whether you happen to own a Roku player, a NowTV Box, OR BOTH, as I do... be sure to check my earlier posts (as mentioned before) for all the new additions to the "Official" Roku UK Channel Store in each of the sixty-nine preceding weeks and then come back again in seven days' time for my next 'Weekly RoundUp'. However, if you can't wait that long, remember you can always keep up with all the UK Roku action (as it happens) throughout the coming week, by following the companion Twitter Feed: @ukrokuchannels where up-to-the-minute info on all things Roku-related (here in the UK) is posted on a daily basis (well, almost).

Until the next time, then...

That's all folks !!
